Glitter flipping and fabulous: Ciaté London's new invention
Liquid lipsticks are an essential part of any make up collection and with so many shades and brands, there's always a new shade you crave to try. It's the same with glitter; shimmer shadows, blinding highlights and glitter liners. Anything that adds an extra element of sparkle always takes a look to the next level.
Social media is a way of showing off new products; it's rare not to find a post featuring make up. I for one love it, I can spend hours watching make up tutorials and looking at swatches and not get bored. It's hard not to want any of the products featured and there's always something new to add to my growing make up collection.

After seeing a YouTube video featuring Ciaté London's new 'Glitter Flip' lipstick I just had to try it out for myself. This lipstick is the first of its kind as it transforms right in front of your eyes. From matte to metallic, the change is undeniably impressive. I add a touch of sparkle to most make up looks and this is something that my make up collection needed; I always choose a shimmer shadow over a matte one and I'm all for a blinding highlight.
I was apprehensive about the lipstick at first as, although they looked successful on YouTube videos, I was unsure how much glitter to expect; and as I love sparkle, I wanted an exceptional amount. When I first saw the lipsticks, everything about them screamed glamour. The glitter packaging and silver stars is a sign that this is a unique product.
The application was slick and fairly easy, the product is smooth and doesn't have lumps of glitter so it is like applying any liquid lipstick. The applicator has a curve at the top which hugs your lips as you apply the product to create a smooth sweep of colour. The formula is light and highly pigmented so only one layer is required to achieve a bold lip.
Before the magic can happen, the lipstick needs to be left to dry for a minute. You can feel the product drying onto your lips however it doesn't feel irritating and doesn't dry out your lips. When dry, the lipstick appears as bold and metallic; it's pretty and can be worn as so.
To flip the lipstick into its glitter form, all you have to do is rub your lips together. This formula is genius as there is a distinctive difference between the two states of the lipstick. The sparkle is binding and the more you rub your lips together, the more glitter appears. This is certainly a bold look as the colour stays as a strong, bold base underneath the glimmering sparkle.
Ciaté London have really blown me away with these lipsticks, the formula, the look and everything about them is right. The uniqueness of them adds a new dimension to my make up collection and the glitter adds an element of glamour to any make up look.When wearing it, I just want to show it off and the illusion of the flip is spectacular. I highly recommend this product as everyone needs a element of sparkle in their life, and with seven shades, there's one for everyone.

The sparkle will last for hours as there is no transfer so topping up doesn't have to be constantly on your mind. The bolder colours may stain your lips do be aware of this when removing it, but really that just a sign of a long-lasting formula.
